What are the advantages of peptide bonded over glutamine as a free amino acid?

Hyvital® Wheat Glutamine contains Peptide-bonded glutamine, which is a natural source of glutamine in comparison to free glutamine which is a synthetically prepared amino acid. Furthermore, peptide-bonded glutamine comes with application advantages:
